Community Groups
Here are a few of
the
Community Groups involved.

Flowers of Hope
In many parts of
the world, women and children live in extreme poverty, suffer
malnutrition, experience violence, face unemployment and endure
patriarchal culture.
Flowers of Hope seeks to end these morally reprehensible conditions for
the millions of people subjected to them. We do this by supporting local
grassroots organizations that help nourish, educate and build power for
women and children across the globe.
The money you donate to Flowers of Hope helps support local projects that
take a sustainable approach to delivering health and education services to
needy populations.
The Eugene/Springfield Solidarity
Network
The
Eugene/Springfield Solidarity Network/Jobs with Justice brings together
labor unions, religious congregations, and community organizations to
support the civil and economic rights of all working people – especially
the right to a decent standard of living, the right to a
stable job, and the right to organize.
MEMA Fund
What
would this planet be without the gift of music to soothe our souls, bring
us to love, and help us understand and care about each other? Music and
musicians have the ability to create magic in our daily lives. It is for
this greater good of the overall continuance of the healing power of music
that touches all of our lives that MEMA, the Musicians Emergency Medical
Association, was founded.
Stop Child Abuse Now
Stop Child Abuse Now is a
nonprofit organization dedicated to stopping child abuse of all forms, and
improving the lives of survivors of all types of abuse and loss. By speaking out
about abuse, we increase the public's awareness of the prevalence of abuse. Our voices break the silence which causes so much pain. When we speak out, we
help save the lives of abused children, and we also help many adult survivors name
the source of chaos in their lives.
Suburban Permaculture
Project
Suburban Permaculture
fits within a much broader context of Culture Change- the idea that there
is urgent need for deep changes in the way we relate to each other,
ourselves, Planet Earth and how we take care of human needs.
