The Obama Letter

The following is a letter sent to over 100 of my 8th grade students from Senator Barack Obama. The students had written Senator Obama as part of a business letter assignment. They were instructed to write a non-partisan letter, but one that included an idea or issue they were concerned about: global warming, the War in Iraq, immigration reform, etc. His response captures much of what Rhythm & Roots is about.
